Sell on credit, and get the money in on time

Credit is a sales argument right up until the money sits still with your customers. Rieck keeps the limit, the deadline and the follow-up running while you keep selling.

One credit limit that applies to every single order

The same rule applies at order number ten and at order number ten thousand

  • The limit holds at the order.

The credit assessment sits on the debtor, not in a spreadsheet. If the limit is used up, the salesperson knows before the goods leave the warehouse.

  • Payment sits inside the invoice.

The customer meets card, MobilePay, payment link and giro code in the document itself. There is no portal to log into first.

  • The cadence runs whatever the volume.

Twenty-five invoices and twenty-five hundred are followed up the same way. The rule sits in the system, not on somebody’s desk.

The debtor record

The credit decision belongs before the order

The limit, the assessment and the payment history sit together on the debtor. That is what decides whether the next order can go on credit. The salesperson can see the answer while the customer is standing there.

The four places credit sales break

The limit, the invoice, the deadline and the bookkeeping

  1. The limit

The boundaries are set once and hold on their own

The credit limit, the payment terms and what happens when the limit is used up are set as rules on the debtor. Sales does not have to ask finance, and finance does not have to find out afterwards.

    • Limit and terms per debtor
    • Automatic hold when the limit is exceeded
    • New customers can be looked up by company number
  2. The invoice

The customer can pay straight from the invoice

The invoice is created from the order and sent with payment built in. The customer does not have to log in, find an account number or wait for a link in another email.

  3. The deadline

When the deadline passes, the cadence starts by itself

Nobody has to watch due dates, and nobody has to decide whether a good customer may be chased. The order is set in advance and runs on your own brand until the amount is in.

  4. The bookkeeping

The payment finds its own invoice

Payments are matched against open entries and booked back into the accounts. Partial and combined payments are allocated, so the ledger shows what is actually outstanding.

Start where it hurts

One part at a time is enough

Each part can be taken on its own. Most wholesalers start at the deadline, because that is where the money is sitting still right now, and add the invoice and the bookkeeping afterwards.

How it works

With more than 500 locations, getting paid takes a process that runs the same way every time. When an invoice goes unpaid, it continues as the same case at Rieck — with the full history, and without anyone exporting a file.
